Samsung Compressor topped the Export List in May

Statistics from China Customs shows that the export volume of AC compressors in May was 1.3 million units, an 8.1% year on year increase but a 15.6% month on month decrease. Suzhou Samsung has been on the top in the export volume list for quite some time, especially in the past three months during which it was among the top three. In May, it ranked first with an export volume of 280,000 units, an 8.7% growth compared with April and 67.9% year on year increase. Samsung Compressor products are mainly exported to Southeast Asian countries and regions, with South Korea, Thailand, India, Hong Kong, and Taiwan accounting for a large proportion. In May there was an upswing in exports to South America and the western part of Asia. Developing countries are the biggest potential market for Samsung to attain new export growth in these regions.
