According to the leading business intelligence firm Euromonitor International, Haier is the number one brand of major appliances in the world with a 7.8% retail volume share in 2011?a 1.7% growth from 2010. Haier has posted consistent growth over the last three decades, achieving a record turnover of US$ 23.3 billion in 2011 and its air conditioning global turnover was US$ 1.7 billion in 2011.
