The worldwide economic recession sparked by the financial crisis in the United States continues to take a toll on industry. This is especially true in the HVAC&R industry, considered a fairly reliable barometer of the health of the larger economy. However, the number of exhibitors and visitors at 2010 AHR Expo, the first international exhibition this year, exceeded the expectations of most people and provided a welcome ray of optimism.
