Techno-Frontier 2011 Exhibits Latest Technologies

Techno-Frontier 2011 was held from July 20 to 22 at Tokyo Big Sight, where exhibitions such as Power System Japan and Energy Harvesting covered the latest technologies and products in 10 fields of electronics and mechatronics.
 
A total of 422 companies from Japan as well as six other countries and one region participated in this year鈥檚 expo. The companies exchanged technology and information with visitors including developers, designers, production engineers, and managers of machinery and equipment manufacturers. The number of visitors reached 33,705 over the expo鈥檚 three days.

Midea鈥檚 Centrifugal Cuts Refrigerant 40%
In March, a high energy-efficiency two-stage, full falling- film centrifugal chiller developed by Midea passed accreditation by a committee composed of members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and experts from the Architectural Society of China (ASC), China Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Industry Association (CRAA), and China Association of Refrigeration (CAR).
