Taiwan: Energy Labeling System of Humidifiers Effective on March 1, 2011

In order to promote energy-saving and enhance the consumers’ knowledge about product energy efficiency information, Taiwan’s Bureau of Energy, Ministry of Economic Affairs will implement the new energy efficiency labeling system for humidifiers on March 1, 2011, signifying an important milestone in energy efficiency management. In addition, the new energy efficiency labeling system of window-type air conditioners, packaged air conditioners, refrigerators, cars and motorcycles will be carried out on July 1, 2011.
