‘Home Appliances to the Countryside’ Breaks 30 Million Units

It was released by the Ministry of Commerce on June 5 that, from January to May 2012, the sales volume of the ‘Home Appliances to the Countryside Scheme’ products across the nation (excluding Shandong, Henan, Sichuan and Qingdao) reached 30.11 million units, a 5.7% year-on-year decrease; the total sales value has reached RMB 79.9 billion with a 4.4% year-on-year growth.
