Mango, King of Fruit, Arrives in Mumbai for 2014 Season

Over 400 boxes of Alphonso mangoes arrived at the wholesale market in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, on February 22, a major hub for mango trade that services the large retail market. With this arrival from the Konkan belt, a couple of hundred kilometers south of Mumbai city, it can safely be said that the 2014 mangoes season has arrived.
