China Closes Five HCFC Production Lines

China announced the shutdown of five HCFC production lines at the ceremony of the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer in mid-September. This would remove 59,000 tons of HCFC output, phase out 88,000 tons of HCFC production capacity and cut annual CO2 emission by more than 93 million tons.
