UNIDO showcases energy efficiency and innovation in small industries in India

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Bureau of Energy Efficiency co-organized a two-day National Conclave on Enhancing Energy Efficiency in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector, which was jointly inaugurated by Minister for MSME, Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari and Minister of State for Power and New and Renewable Energy R.K. Singh, with Gadkari stressing the importance of energy efficiency and biomass, and Singh suggesting further work on energy benchmarking and labelling.
