China’s RAC Sales Decline Despite Peak Season

According to data from All View Cloud (AVC), in the first half of this year, the Chinese domestic retail sales of room air conditioners (RACs) were RMB 113.7 billion (US$ 15.9 billion), down by 1.4% from the same period last year. Cooler days in June and July negatively affected sales and inventories piled up to nearly 50 million units.
