China Decreases Import Tariffs on Refrigeration Components from 2020

On December 18, 2019, the Chinese Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council announced that import tariffs on some commodities will be adjusted from January 1, 2020, including many refrigeration equipment components. According to the announcement, China is implementing a temporary lower import tariff than the most favored nation tariff on more than 850 commodity items. At the same time, more refrigeration-related products were included in the import tariff agreement on further tax reductions. Many countries benefit from zero import tariff for various refrigeration equipment parts and components.
