Heat Pump Sales Soar to Almost 100,000 in Finland

According to SULPU, Finnish Heat Pump Association, heat pump sales increased by 30% and even more in euro terms in Finland in 2019. More than €600 million (US$ 648 million) was invested in the 98,000 heat pumps installed last year. At the same time, the milestone of one million installed heat pumps was reached. Heat pumps are used to supply 15% of the heating of Finland’s residential and service building stock. This huge investment in the environment and in the fight against climate change has been made primarily by homeowners using their own money.
