Electricity is expensive in Italy. The proportion of new and replacement demand is 90:10%, both of which are continuing to maintain high-speed growth. Demand is essentially from all newly built apartments. In outdoor units, split type accounts for 63% and monobloc type for 37%. In the indoor unit, the integral type represents 60%, and the wall-mounted type represents 40%. Under 16 kW capacity models account for 85% of the total market. ATW water tank capacity is generally about 200 liters. Italy is a low-end market.
