China Becomes World’s Top Importer of Food in Refrigerated Containers

According to the latest statistics from Eskesen Advisory, impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, China has invested a large amount of capital in order to ensure food supply, making it the world’s largest importer of refrigerated and frozen food in containers. As of October 2020, the number of refrigerated containers transporting food to China has increased by 41% year on year, and this development trend may last until 2021.
