Carrier Midea India Chairman Outlines Future Plans

Carrier Midea India, a 40-60% joint venture (JV) between Carrier Global and Midea Group, has shifted its manufacturing base in India from Bawal, Haryana in North India to Supa, Maharashtra in West India. This is one of the largest room air conditioner (RAC) factories in India, spread across 10 hectares. The initial capacity is 1 million air conditioners per year. Phase two will take this capacity up to 1.5 million.
