Italian AC Market Review in the First Half of 2020

After about three years of growth, the Italian gross domestic product (GDP) began diminishing and became dramatically negative in the first quarter of 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The situation was similar across Europe and, generally, throughout the world. The economic consequences are very severe, particularly in terms of investments. It seems that ANCE, the Italian building construction association, is optimistic regarding the near future, thanks to big investment programs that the Italian and other European governments decided to implement in 2020.
