JCI Brings Hitachi Horizontal Scroll Compressors to North America

On May 3, 2021, Johnson Controls (JCI) announced a partnership with its joint venture (JV) company, Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning, to offer widescale distribution of its industry recognized lineup of Hitachi horizontal scroll compressors in North America. This offering aligns the innovative Hitachi scroll compressors with the strength of Penn, a brand from JCI backed by more than a century of commercial refrigeration expertise.
