UK Household to Receive £5, 000 for Heat Pump Heating

In late October this year, the UK government announced new subsidy policy totaling £450 million (about US$ 610 million) to facilitate the switch from gas boilers to heat pump heating equipment. For a three-year period spanning April 2022 to March 2025, a total of 90,000 households in England and Wales will be reimbursed £5,000 (about US$ 6,800) per household, when the homeowner replaces a gas boiler with heat pump heating equipment
