JSRAE Holds Online Seminar on Refrigerant Issues

On March 4, the Japan Society of Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (JSRAE) held a seminar in Tokyo on the theme of addressing issues with new refrigerants and their future prospects. The number of in-person attendees was limited due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and instead the seminar was also made available for streaming online for a fee from March 11 to 25. Regarding refrigerants for refrigeration and air conditioning, the challenge the industry is confronted with now is getting low-global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants developed and adopted.
