U. S. DPA Invokes for Heat Pump and Clean Energy Manufacturing

On June 6, U.S. President Joe Biden invoked the Defense Production Act (DPA) to expand domestic manufacturing of clean energy technologies. These technologies cover five categories: 1) heat pumps, 2) solar, 3) insulation, 4) transformers and electric grid components, and 5) electrolyzers, fuel cells, and platinum group metals.
