Trane Debuts ATW Heat Pump & Rooftops

Trane has released its first air-towater (ATW) heat pump capable of both heating and cooling. The Ascend ATW heat pump model ACX combines chiller and heat pump technology for building applications. The Ascend model ACX offers building owners boiler-free heating with heating efficiency of 2.77 coefficient of performance (COP) and cooling efficiency of 9.215 energy efficiency ratio (EER).
