International Conference in Stockholm Explores Decarbonization of European Heating Sector – Sweden as a Role Model

In the face of Europe’s ongoing energy crisis and the urgent need for decarbonization, the “Decarbonization of the European Heating Sector” conference took place on May 26th 2023 at the renowned Swedish National Museum of Science and Technology. The event was organized in conjunction to the Swedish Presidency of the European Council and brought together leading scientists, policymakers, and industry representatives from across Europe to discuss strategies for transitioning to a carbon-free future. Swedish Minister for Energy and Enterprise, Ebba Busch, opened the conference, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts to overcome energy supply challenges and rising prices.
